Step 1-

Size your load before you wash.

• Large Load: One full armful.
• Extra-Large Load: More than one armful (two trips to the washer)

 

Important: Don't pack the washer too tightly. Leave enough space for your hand to fit inside, so the clothes can tumble.

Step 3 -

How Much Laundry Detergent Should You Use?

Getting the right amount of detergent is key for clean clothes. Just guessing can lead to poor results. Here's what to consider:

• Washer Type:
  • HE washers use less water. Too much laundry can prevent detergent from dissolving.
• Dirt Level:
  • Heavily soiled clothes need more detergent.
• Load Size:
  • Larger loads need more detergent. Modern washers often have bigger drums, so adjust accordingly.
• Water Hardness:
  • If you have hard water, use more detergent.

Important: Using too much or too little detergent can affect cleaning and stain removal.

Step 4 -

Place clothes into the washer on top of the laundry pac.

Close the lid after use.
